The judging lists for the
Flatcoated Retriever Club of Scotland are compiled twice yearly by the Judges
Sub Committee. This group is appointed by the main committee and are
responsible for not only compiling the lists from new applications and
updates from those already on the list, but for recommending any changes
necessary to the criteria including those required to comply with Kennel Club
rules. Three quarters of the members of the Judges Sub Committee are approved
by the KC to award Challenge Certificates in the breed. |

A
recent change has been the agreement of the three Flatcoated Retriever Breed
Clubs to offer new applicants the opportunity to have their details
circulated to the other clubs for consideration under their criteria. The
thinking behind this is to promote consistency within the various club lists
and to cut down on the number of forms applicants have to complete if they
wish to apply to all 3 clubs. Copies of the criteria and Judges Questionnaire
for the Flatcoated Retriever Club of Scotland are attached. |
